Scientific
environment The Blackwell lab is located at the Joslin Diabetes Center, in the Longwood Medical Area in Boston. Research laboratories at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Center are only a short walk away, and provide a variety of research interactions, facilities, and seminars. We regularly participate in shared group meetings at Joslin Diabetes Center and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and in the Boston Area Worm Meeting. These and many regular seminar series provide important vehicles for interactions and collaborations. |
